M. Andrew (Andy) received his B.S. in Business Management from Troy State University in 1994. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Jones School of Law in 1997. While in law school Andy was a charter member of the first Law Review Board. After completing law school Andy was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1998. Since his admission he achieved an AV-Preeminent attorney rating with Martindale-Hubbell. This rating is reserved for attorneys with the highest degree of ethical standards and legal skill.
His primary practice involves general civil litigation, insurance coverage analysis, construction defect litigation, property management litigation, commercial litigation, manufactured home litigation, pest control litigation, professional liability, dram shop liability, and general insurance defense. He has extensive experience in arbitrations as well as administrative proceedings. Andy has a state wide practice and has been involved in cases in all 67 counties in Alabama. He also has been involved in litigation across the county for several clients. Andy is also a popular speaker at state and national pest control conferences on such topics as contracts, wood infestation reports and recurring damage claims.
In addition to his legal practice, Andy is a member of the YMCA Camp Chandler Advisory Board, YMCA Britton Board of Directors, member of the Jimmy Hitchcock Award Selection Committee, adult Sunday school teacher at Montgomery First Baptist Church, and is an avid runner.
