S. Anthony (Tony) Higgins

Central Alabama Office

Upon graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1992, Mr. Higgins served a one year clerkship for Justice Hugh Maddox of the Alabama Supreme Court. In 1993, Tony joined the firm’s Central Alabama office. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on the defense of complex cases, including construction defect litigation, products liability litigation and commercial motor vehicle accidents. He also regularly handles cases involving employment disputes, consumer protection litigation and environmental law in state and federal courts throughout Alabama and Georgia. Mr. Higgins has successfully defended corporations and individuals in trial in both state and federal courts throughout the State of Alabama.

Mr. Higgins is well-respected by his peers and has served as a Director of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. In addition, he has also served as a member of the Alabama Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution and is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
