A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Atchison graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in History. Atchison received his Juris Doctorate from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2024. While in law school, he was a member of the Cumberland’s American Journal of Trial Advocacy as well as Cumberland’s Nationally ranked Trial team.

Atchison clerked at Holtsford Gilliland in the summer of 2023, gaining experience across the firm’s vast practice areas. Upon completion of the bar exam, Atchison joined the firm as an associate.

Atchison’s practice is focused primarily on the areas of motor vehicle liability, transportation law, and general defense litigation.
