Daniel T. Seawell

Daniel joined the firm in 2019 and his practice focuses primarily in the areas of general insurance defense litigation, motor vehicle litigation and trucking defense, general civil litigation and workers compensation.

Daniel graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law with Honors in the field of Criminal Law. While in law school, Daniel served as a limited practicing attorney in both Alabama and Mississippi.  In Alabama, he served as a limited practicing attorney on the staff of the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office for the Hon. Ashley Rich.  In Mississippi, he served as a limited practicing attorney with Ole Miss Law’s criminal defense clinics, the Criminal Appeals Clinic and the Mississippi Innocence Project. Daniel also operated as the Senior Notes Editor for the Mississippi Sports Law Review and the Secretary for the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, for which he received the Edith Waits Turley Scholarship. Prior to attending law school, Daniel received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from Auburn University in the field of Radio, Television, Video and Film.

Daniel lives in Mobile, AL with his wife Kayla. He is an active member of both St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its affiliated Knights of Columbus chapter where he serves as a Fourth Degree Knight. Daniel is an avid tennis player and has served as a captain for USTA and BATA teams in Mississippi and Alabama.
