Skylar M. Sawyer

Ms. Sawyer joined the firm’s Gulf Coast office in 2020. Skylar’s practice is focused in areas of motor vehicle defense and general insurance defense.
Skylar graduated from Faulkner Law in 2019. During law school, Skylar served as the student representative for the Montgomery Volunteer Lawyer’s Program of the Montgomery County Bar Association. She was an active member of Faulkner’s Board of Advocates, competing and coaching in various national trial team competitions. She clerked for the Office of the Attorney General for two years in the administrative and civil law division.
Upon graduation from law school, Skylar served as an Assistant District Attorney for Baldwin County. She primarily prosecuted traffic violations for Baldwin County District Court.
In 2011, Skylar received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Philosophy. After her undergraduate education, she served the Baldwin County Court system as a court referral officer and later as a Juvenile Probation Officer.
